Elle Magaña Mireles

hola!!! Nice to meet you :)

Elle Magaña Mireles is a Latina ethical fashion activist based in Montana ( moving to New York, summer of 2024). She believes clothing can be a gateway to creating a more just and humane world by bringing about global, positive change.

She received her B.A in Business Administration, with a concentration in Management, and B.A in Apparel Merchandising from Dominican University. Go Stars! She also holds a Community Organizing for Social Justice certificate from the University of Michigan and a Social Justice certificate from the University of Dayton. She is currently enrolled in Parsons School of Design - The New School’s certification program, specializing in Digital Fashion Innovation.

Elle is a trained social justice organizer, with extensive experience from building out a national Latinx constituency for an environmental justice org, co-founding one of the most power-hungry tenant unions in the nation fighting for affordable housing, and spearheading slow-fashion activism on a national and global level.

Elle dreams of becoming an ethical fashion author and a sustainable fashion designer. For now, you’ll find her making YouTube videos, building community, writing and organizing for organizations, and reading about spirituality.
