The event will include a traditional opening ceremony by Sápara leader Manari Ushigua Santi, messages from UN Secretary-General António Guterres and UNPFII Chair Hindou Oumarou Ibrahim, and a panel discussion with Indigenous leaders and experts on the challenges and protections needed for isolated Indigenous communities.
